Liz Lemon, the female protagonist of NBC's 30 Rock, tied the knot last week, and Salon asks if "the most influential TV heroine of the last decade" is settling. Maybe. The article suggests that third-wave feminism might be more about "skewering liberal pieties than in embracing any position earnestly," at least as practiced by the Lemon character. But that might be because second-wave feminism is based on "outdated asssumptions" anyway.
Discuss.
