In America we photoshop to look "perfect" and in Saudi Arabia they just photoshop them out completely. I thought that this was surprising that Ikea would let this happen, but more than anything this made me sad for the culture of Saudi Arabia. In America, while we are trying to fight for contraceptives in Saudi Arabia women are being cut out pictures for reasons like, "she was considered lazy. Her sin: she was lying down on a sofa, enjoying a book." What do you think?
