"Funny" Gifts That Are NOT Funny

So, I've always known Spencer's Gifts as a place that doesn't exactly sell the classiest merchandise on the block. However, I could find humor in it. I mean, who hasn't wandered into the store looking for glow-in-the-dark 21st birthday shot glasses or a prank gift for a friend? But, after reading this Jezebel article, I thoroughly believe the store has gone WAY too far.

These T-Shirts are down right misogynistic and demeaning toward women. The company is selling T-Shirts that have slogans such as "Of course I love you, now get me a beer" and "Nice tits, too bad about your face :(" (And these are the tame ones!). Although this type of merchandise makes me disgusted at the company, it makes me even more disgusted that men are actually buying these shirts. And, without a doubt, are still finding girls that will hook up with them! It just really makes me question men and the standards to which women hold them.

What do you think? Are these shirts actually funny or are they hateful against women? Should companies be allowed to sell merchandise like this?
