Last week when Katy Perry accepted Billboard's Women of the Year Award she announced, "I am not a feminist, but I do believe in the strength of women." According to this blog, a lot of female celebrities have been denouncing feminism. Of course when looking in to this matter further you could actually claim that even though these celebrities don't call themselves "feminists" their beliefs fit in with 3rd wave feminism. Maybe someone should let them know that feminism has evolved from bra burning?
