Sorority "Uniform"

I read an article online from the Daily Texan by Abbey Grimes discussing the so called "uniform" many say sorority members wear. It consists of a baggy t-shirt, Nike shorts, and running shoes. Grimes argues that they are not a "uniform", that they are simply worn for ease and comfort. The author of this article argued against another article in the Texas called Don't Short Your Identity by Maria-Xenia Hardt. Hardt stated that both mini skirts and Nike shorts "serve the same purpose: by wearing them, you identify yourself with a group."

Read both articles and tell me what you think.

Do you ever judge a girl by her Nike shorts?

Do we stereotype men the same was based on what they wear?
