More on Gloria Steinem:
Watching the film today, I admit I felt a bit shocked by how avidly and openly women advocated for abortion rights during the "second wave" of feminism.  Wondering how students felt about the t-shirt, for example, declaring simply "I had an abortion."

I was also struck by the way Steinem described her position at the Overheard taping last month here at UT as "sweetly reasonable."  "The power of the government," she said simply, "stops at our skin."
